Flydubai Airlines launches flights to Kyrgyzstan

Low-cost airline Flydubai begins flights to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek, the communique says. This destination will be the 50th in the network of existing airline routes.

The first direct flight will take place on February 7, 2012. Then, Flydubai planes will fly twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays from Dubai to Bishkek, on Wednesdays and Saturdays - in the opposite direction.

Gate Al-Gate, chairman of the board of directors of Flydubai, said: “The number of routes to the countries of the former Soviet Union has grown to 12, and we are proud of it. We started work in June 2009, and today we are opening our 50th destination. This is an important milestone in the history of our company. " He also emphasized that Flydubai already operates flights to several cities of Central Asia, and hopes that routes to Bishkek will also be in demand by passengers. According to Gate Al-Gate, today in this country there is a growing demand for international flights.

It is worth noting that earlier Kyrgyzstan opened the gate for foreign investors in key industries, including metallurgy, and today it is actively building up its tourism potential.
