Just ninety days after placing orders for the supply of aluminum and glass in the amount of AED 245 million, the development company Al Fajer Properties (AFP) began to carry out a range of works on cladding and glazing of building facades in its main Dubai project Jumeirah Business Center (JBC), to ensure the implementation of a concise construction schedule on time.
Thanks to the structural reorganization that was successfully carried out by the new management of the company in early 2008, even before the global financial crisis, Al Fajer Properties has all the resources to accelerate the pace of construction and achieve incredible results in record time: at some sites, the full cycle of floor construction was completed, on average in 4 days.
Facing work on the facades of towers 2, 3, 4 and 5 is already ongoing in accordance with the schedule. The glazing of the facades of the five towers of the first building cycle began with tower 2. At the moment, work on the glass facade of one of the tower walls, the ground structure of which has already been erected to 34 floors, has been completed to the level of the fifth floor.
Energy-saving glass used in glazing of facades meets the standards of "green" construction established in Dubai. It prevents the passage of thermal radiation, increasing the positive property of thermal insulation, while significantly reducing the level of noise pollution.
Cladding Facade Systems Supplied by Shenyang Yuanda Aluminum Industry Engineering Co. and Reem Emirates Aluminum. The pre-adjustment technology used in the production of cladding systems allows for installation in the shortest possible time. The construction of the facades of all five towers is planned to be completed by the third quarter of this year.
