Dubai municipality will give out 100 thousand energy-efficient light bulbs

Thousands of UAE citizens will receive energy-saving lamps for their homes and apartments from the Dubai Municipality for free.

The municipality of Dubai has signed partnership agreements with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MRHE) and Azizi Developments, thanks to which the civil authority will donate 100 thousand energy-saving bulbs to Dubai to the emirates, residents of Dubai.

The agreements were signed in the presence of Hussein Nasser Lut, Director General of the Dubai Municipality.

Khalid Sharif Muhammad Al Awadhi, Deputy General Director for Environment, Health and Safety, signed the agreement on behalf of the municipality, Sami Abdullah Gargash, Executive Director, introduced MRHE, and Fuad Azizi - Azizi.

Under an agreement with MRHE, the municipality will provide light bulbs in support of the company's construction projects for citizens.

The agreement also aims to establish cooperation and partnership between the two sides in the field of energy saving by installing light bulbs that save about 90 percent of electricity compared to traditional light bulbs. They also have a service life of 15 thousand to 25 thousand hours.

In accordance with a four-year agreement signed with Azizi Development, the company will use the Dubai Lamp in a number of its current and future projects.
