Dubai patrol rescues six drowning women

Off the coast of one of the beaches of Dubai, a sea patrol saved six drowning women.

In Dubai, a sea patrol rescued six women drowning alongside Al Mamzar Beach, a popular destination for city dwellers.

Lt. Col. Rashid Sami Al Aael, head of maritime security at the Dubai Port police station, and Lt. Col. Ali Abdullah Al Qaseb Al Nakbi, head of the maritime rescue department, watched the rescue operation at Mamzar Park.

"The Dubai Command Center and the police dispatch have received information about women in distress. The maritime security patrols and rescuers immediately moved to the scene of the incident and rescued the women," said Al Nakbi, who praised the coast guard’s rapid response to various distress alerts.

Al Nakby urged beach people to pay attention to safety warnings and follow recommendations. He emphasized the importance of complying with safety guidelines published by the Dubai Municipality and the Dubai Police. If the red flag is raised, swimming in the sea is strictly prohibited, he recalled.
