Reading glasses handed out to worshipers in Dubai

Six thousand pairs of reading glasses were given to worshipers in Dubai.

Dubai, UAE. Six thousand pairs of reading glasses were distributed to worshipers during Ramadan in 35 mosques throughout Dubai. The initiative belongs to the Noor Dubai Foundation. The fund has been conducting similar campaigns since 2008, including the restoration of vision.

This year, the organization helped prayers suffering from age-related farsightedness - it became much easier for them to read the Quran during prayer. In addition, Al Jaber Optical conducted eye tests - medical equipment was installed directly in mosques.

It is noted that today in the world more than 1 billion people suffer from age-related myopia. It can be adjusted with glasses.
