Dubai, UAE. On the eve of Al Ain, an original atmospheric phenomenon, known in meteorology as a “leaky cloud”, was recorded. Reminiscent of the shape of a UFO, the cloud instantly caused a stir in social networks.
Scientists-meteorologists, meanwhile, explained that this phenomenon is not an anomaly, but a special form of celestial formations: in the field of cumulus or cirrocumulus clouds, round or oval gaps sometimes appear with smooth edges.
In the central part of the “holes”, the thinnest strips of ice crystal fall are usually visible. "Gaps" in the sky are formed due to the appearance of condensation nuclei, which are the products of combustion of combustible air transport.
It is curious that similar clouds were also seen over the towns of Buraimi and Madda, in the north-west of Oman.
