Dubai will see the largest arena under the Coca-Cola brand

At the largest indoor arena in Dubai, Coca-Cola brand name will be immortalized.

Dubai Arena, the largest indoor arena preparing to open in Dubai, has been officially named the Coca-Cola Arena. Meraas has signed a 10-year deal with Coca-Cola. The agreement with the American company includes exclusive rights to the name of the object, the opening of which is scheduled for June this year.

"We are proud that a company with such a world-famous name as Coca-Cola is acquiring a long-term right to name the arena," said Abdullah Al Habbai, chairman of Meraas Group.

Murat Ozgel, general manager of Coca-Cola Middle East and vice president of Coca-Cola Middle East and North Africa, said: “We are proud to be part of this long-awaited entertainment center, which demonstrates our commitment to the region ... Arena will become another iconic landmark in the city attracting visitors from all over the world. "

The largest indoor arena in the Middle East will be able to accommodate up to 17 thousand spectators in City Walk. Various concerts and sporting events will be held here throughout the year. The site will be managed by AEG Ogden, which also operates the London O2 Arena, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai and the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

“We are proud to partner with Meraas and Coca-Cola to launch the UAE's first world-class multi-purpose indoor arena. We look forward to working closely over the next 10 years,” said Guy Ngata, Executive Director of Coca-Cola Arena at AEG Ogden.

“The title agreement is extremely beneficial for Dubai and Coca-Cola, which are internationally recognized brands in their own right. We look forward to developing our partnerships over the next decade and further turning Dubai into one of the key places for music tours, sports competitions, family shows, and corporate events. "

Last Monday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, vice president and ruler of Dubai, personally visited the new arena of the emirate and got acquainted with the progress of construction. He said that such projects are a key factor in the country's growth as a leading player in the world arena.
