Last call at the Russian International School of Dubai

ON MAY 25, IN THE RUSSIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, DUBAI RINGED THE NEXT LAST CALL, CELEBRATING THE END OF THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR AND THE BEGINNING OF ADULTS FOR PUPILS OF THE 11th "A".

The school’s teachers, students and their parents attended the ceremony, which was held at the Grand Millenium Dubai Hotel, and the guests of honor were: Gocha Levanovich Buachidze, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with his wife; Tatyana Al Arud, president of the Russian Women’s Union of Russian Women, as well as Najibullah Najib, owner of the Russian International School in Dubai, with his wife.

“Within the walls of this school, you received a worthy education that will be useful to you in an independent adult life. Many of you will go to the Emirate’s universities, some will go to Europe and the USA, then you will return to the Emirates or to your homeland. But I urge you not to forget your native school that raised you, "said Gocha Levanovich Buachidze, addressing the graduates. He wished young people success and good luck in their new life.

During the holiday, traditionally attended by 10th graders, numerous parting words were sounded and thanks to the teachers, including on behalf of the pupils of the school and their parents. Together, guests flipped through a school album with photographs, remembered the brightest moments of the educational process. As part of the gala concert, dance and music numbers were performed by elementary school students. A bright “highlight” of the program was improvisation on the theme of the Othello performance, which was presented by students of the final class.

This year, two students immediately graduated from school with gold medals. The best were Margarita Leh and Maria Surzhanskaya. Following the established tradition, the director of the school, Marina Borisovna Halikova, spoke warmly to all the guests, who read out the order on the admission of students to state exams and wished everyone good luck. Graduates presented the director with the next issue of a literary almanac prepared on their own. As usual, the right to give the last school bell went to one of the current graduates and a very young first-grader. The concert ended with the famous school waltz, photographing for memory and cutting a birthday cake.
