The UAE government has ordered Dubai officials to pay a prize in honor of the Eid al-Fitr festival.
President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Ibn Zayd Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ibn Rashid Al Maktoum, have announced the payment of a salary bonus to all government employees in Dubai.
The maximum bonus amount will be 50,000 dirhams, the minimum - 5,000 dirhams, officials will receive a bonus before the holiday Eid al-Fitr.
Sheikh Hamdan Ibn Mohammed Ibn Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, also ordered the allocation of funds to all persons on social security under the laws of Dubai. Preferential categories of citizens in honor of the holiday will receive an additional payment in the amount of a monthly allowance.
