Named the first emirate astronauts

The names of the citizens of the United Arab Emirates who will be the first to go to the ISS in 2019 are named.

Dubai, UAE. Two citizens of the United Arab Emirates - Sultan Seif Al Neyadi, a professor of information technology, and Khazza Ali Al Mansouri, a military pilot, were selected as the first emirate astronauts.

They will go to Russia, where on the territory of Star City, they will undergo preparation for the flight to the ISS in April 2019. They will spend 10 days on the Soyuz spacecraft as part of an international crew, where they will be engaged in scientific research.
