Starting August 1, a liter of Super 98 brand gasoline will cost 2.37 dirhams ($ US 0.65), Special 95 - 2.26 dirhams ($ US 0.62). The price of diesel in August will rise to 2.42 dirhams ($ US 0.66) per liter.
Prices in the UAE peaked in the summer, along with an increase in the cost of a barrel of Brent crude.
